John was a keen woodworker and fisherman from Southland who moved to Nelson in his early 20s where he met his wife Betty. Together they had four children and made countless memories both in Nelson and at their bach in Golden Bay. John will be remembered as a kind and patient father, grandfather and great grandfather as well as a devoted husband to his beloved Betty.
